From an early age spirituality has been part of her life. She is certificed by the Master Sha Tao Academy as Tao Hands practitioner, soul teacher, soul communicator, Tao Song and Tao dance practitioner en Guan Yin Lineage holder.

Berend is graduated as pedagoge and psycologist and is experienced as teacher and manager in education. After his pension he is active as Tao Hands practitioner, soul teacher, soul communicator, Tao Song and Tao Dance practitioner and Tao Science messenger of the Master Sha Tao Academy  As life coach he is certified by the Atma institute in the Netherlands.
